Ang Salitang "Blog"

Wow...this is my first time to write a blog...astig pala... I am writing this kasi na-inspire ako sa funny blogs ni Chona Mae... asan na kaya siya... may anak na kaya sila ni Reynante? hehe Several of my friends and colleagues are already addicted to share their experiences and views in their blogs sa friendster o dito sa blogspot.com. Pero ano nga ba talaga ang "Blog"? Saan ba nagsimula ito? Ano ba tagalog ng blog?

Ayon kay Merriam-Webster dictionary, ang salitang "blog" ay isang noun na "a Web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer". Blog is something like an online diary or journal of a person... ay teka...meron bang diary na shineshare sa ibang tao... hehe. The blog word was founded by Peter Merholz in May 1999. This blog inventor initially broke the word weblog into "we blog". At ayun, dun nakuha ang word na "blog".

In my own definition, blog means a way of expressing your ideas, sharing your experiences, voicing out one's opinions and a way of releasing stress.... pero shempre in a good way naman kasi baka may ma-offend na ibang tao. From what I learned there are already some laws that will monitor abusive and offending blogs, just like yung owner ng Dallas Mavs. I think more and more people are blogging because they can publish their own journals for a cheaper price (nde free shempre may bayad pa din ang internet unless na trabaho mo ay mag-blogging... sana magkaroon ng job position na IT Blogger...haha) and at the same time, many people can read and search their journals. It is fun to make a blog kasi naeenhance din yung writing skills mo... malay naten makagawa ako ng story na pwede i-submit sa MMK (Maalala Mo Kaya). :p

Aba alam nyo na ba may iba't ibang klase na ng BLOG. Ang mga ito ay business blog, mob log, cultural blog, online diary, vlog, spam blog at kung anu ano pang blog blog. Hmmmm... makaisip nga ng isa pang klase ng blog. :)
